Third day in Hua Hin (Excursion)

After having our breakfast, we met at the hotel lobby and preparing to set off for our excursion.

First stop: Sugarcane plantation

The objective of this excursion is to enhance our knowledge of our company's tractors. The company that own this plantation has bought our tractors for their sugarcane plantation.
On our way to sugarcane plantation
Finally we have reached the sugarcane plantation.
The sun is free of charge.....It is damn sunny and DUSTY.We have the chance to try the juice of the sugarcanes, but I don't dare to try it. Linda decided to try the juice from the sugarcane directly. She said the juice is quite sweet. After this excursion, we proceed for our lunch. Damn hot and hungry.

On our way to River Khwae for lunch.
Second stop: Floating restaurant at River Khwae.

This is the railway that was built during the World War II. Is it called the death railway or Burma Railway? Gonna brush up my history.
Third Stop: The making of sugar at MK factory.

I do not know the procedure of sugar making. Luckily we have this opportunity to visit the factory to see the procedures. For safety reason, we have to wear the mask and helmet. Don't they look like surgeons?
We have never seen so many freshly produced raw sugars in our life.
Final Stop: Back to hotel.

It took us 3 hours bus ride from the factory to our hotel. Exhausted! By the time we reached our hotel is already 7pm (Thailand's Time).

Although the trip is tiring, we have enjoyed ourselves Without this trip, I doubt I have the chance to visit the sugarcane plantation and making of sugar. Really grateful that the company has arranged this trip for us.

Really enhance my geography and history knowledge. :p
