Last week, my boss asked me if I wanna relocate to Taiwan after I am back from my maternity leave in July.
She is offering the role of Taiwan Finance Manager bcos we are going to set up a new subsi in Taiwan.
It's very tempting because I will be enjoying expatriate benefits, it will be double of my current salary and it is a promotion for me. But of course the stress level will be x2 too.
However, I have to turn this offer down because Mr Lee gonna help his dad's business here and little M just settled down in her new nursery class. Plus my little M2 is so young.
I told my boss if I am single, I will definitely take up this offer.
Haiz... Too bad this job opportunity comes at wrong time. Having 2 kids will not be easy and if I take up this job offer, I will be stressed up with new job scope and 2 kids.
Mr Lee also agrees that it is a pity that I have to turn this offer down because opportunity don't always come. But I really not willing to leave Mr Lee and my 2 kids here. If Mr Lee can relocate, I will confirm take up this offer too.
