Gosh! I am now a mother of two.
Little M2 has decided to see this world on 5 of March. She is 2 weeks earlier than her due date. She is born on the Ash Wednesday which is a holy day for Catholic.
Surprisingly, little M2's birth story is similar to her elder sister. And here it is:
11pm: After finishing story book to little M, I went to the kitchen to drink my coconut water that Mr Lee has bought from Malaysia.
11.30pm: After finishing my coconut water, I am going back to the room and prepare to sleep. And when I am going to step into my bed, my water bag burst! Mr Lee hasn't slept bcos he was playing his ipad. When I told him, he was like "are u sure?" So I went to the toilet and I feel another pool of water coming out.
1145 to 12am: Mr Lee and I packed our bags and make sure we have brought all the necessary items. Mr Lee called his parents as we have to bring little M over to their house. And before we left our house, we open up all the cupboards in our house.
12am: Fetch little M to my in-law's place and Mr Lee fetched me to Mount Alvernia Hospital.
1230am: Reached Mount A hospital. Mr Lee went to park his car while I went up to the delivery suite to inform the midwives that my water bag has broken.
After that I changed to the hospital gown, signed epidural form & clear my bowels. Midwives checked and I am 3cm dilated.
2am: Dr Yvonne Lee, the anesthetist came and gave me the epidural jab. This time round I can feel the pain of the jab. I guess is due to my contractions is not that strong so I can feel the epidural pain more than the contractions.
So after that we just wait. I puked twice before delivery because of the side effects of epidural. And I also shiver.
10am to 1030am: Dr Kee came and little M2 is out. I think my epidural dosage for this time round is not that strong so I still can feel abit of the contractions. So when Dr Kee & the midwives asked me to push, the urge is quite strong. As if my poo is stuck there and I have to push it out. So little M2 is out within 5 pushes.
The time that little M2 is born is 5 minutes different from little M. If Dr Kee has reached 5 minutes earlier, both of their delivery time will be the same!
So when little M2 is out, I feel a sense of relief and I actually cried!
Gosh! Her weight is 3.2kg. 200g heavier than little M. I think it is due to the milo that I have drank during pregnancy.
Mr Lee said before, he feels that giving birth is like taking driving license.
Manual car license = Normal Delivery
Automatic car license = C section
I told Mr Lee that I let the baby to decide which way she wants to be delivered. That's why I have chosen normal delivery. But of course with epidural lah! Orelse I sure died with pain.
Actually doesn't matter which way baby is delivered, as long as baby and mummy are safe during delivery right?

All new born babies have water retention too! They look so bloated right.

As the epidural dosage for this time round is not that strong, so the effect went off quite fast. By 630pm, I can get down from the bed and went to the washroom with the help of the nurse. I still remember when I had little M, I cannot get down the bed on the first day of delivery and I lost a lot of blood.
I was telling Mr Lee maybe the "hole" already seasoned liao, so recovery is faster. Haha!
I can go to nursery room to pick up little M2 which I never do it when I have little M.
The room that Mr Lee & I have stayed for 3D2N. I told Mr Lee this time round, I can really enjoy the benefits of staying in the hospital because I can walk around and have good appetite. Unlike during the time when I gave birth to little M.
And little M is here to visit her little sister. She is now the elder sister.
On the day of discharge. The nurses praised that I still look good despite I just gave birth. Heehee!
We were so worried that little M2 cannot go home with us together because she has slight jaundice.

This little M forever cannot stand still and look at the camera.
Little M2 is also blessed by the sister in the chapel of Mount A. The same sister that has blessed little M when she was discharged 3 years ago.
The sleepless nights gonna start all over again.
