Day 6 - Taipei (30 Sep 14)

On our day 3 in Tapei, we went to 北投. I like this place because I feel that as if I am in Japan. This place was influenced by Japanese culture as they are reserving the houses that are left during the Japanese Occupation.

We drove for half an hour from our hotel to 北投. 北投 is the famous place that people come here to 泡温泉.

The hot springs tubs that the Japanese used to 泡温泉.

After visiting the musuem that we have gained our knowlege about 温泉, we went to look for the Thermal Valley.

The water are in super high temperature and it means this place is volcano active. It is amazing to see these kind of water and it is smelly too because of the sulphur.

北投 is famous for hot springs so there are many hotels that offer hot spring service. We find this Kagaya hotel that offer hot spring and spa. Their website is http://en.kagaya.com.tw

We found this hotel randomly. We drove by and we saw the girls that dressed up in Kimono greeting all the hotel guests are very cute. When we stepped into the lobby, we felt as if we are in Japan.

Even the shower area is also very japanese style. We have booked for 1.5 hour of hot spring and 1.5 hour of spa. But we did not stay in the hot spring tub for 1.5 hour lah because it is so warm that I cannot stand it.

They even provide skin care products for ladies. Hmm... after seeing this photo, I was wondering where have I kept these skin care products.
Feeling shiok after our hot spring and we went for our spa session after that.

Red bean soup after our spa. Damn shiok and I was so hungry after the spa and I finished the small bowl of red bean soup immediately.

After that, we drove to 淡水 from 北投 for half an hour.

That's the famous 彩虹桥 in 淡水 even though we didn't manage to take a good pic of the colourful lights.

After enjoying the sunset scenery and eating our fried chicken cutlet, we dtove to 士林night market.

And eat again.

And we finally eat the famour 阿宗面线. Suppose to eat at 西门町, but since we saw it at 士林, might as well eat now.

That's all for my day 6 in Taiwan. I still left 2 more blog entries to update for my TW trip. Shall continue the update again.
