Taichung to Taipei (28 Sep 2014)

Since the kids are taking their afternoon nap, I shall continue to update my Taiwan trip.

So on Sunday, we took the HSR from Taichung to Taipei.

We handed over our rental car to the rental uncle, and he drove the car from Taichung to Taipei for us. He will meet us in Taipei after that.

Funny right? Because we want to experience the HSR so he drove the car while we took the HSR.

I have booked the tickets online 2 weeks ago before our trip. The tickets is around SGD 100 for 2 persons as we have chosen the business class cabin. Since we wanna experience the HSR might as well take the better one right.

 

We bought McDonalds lunch set to eat in the train. Our train ride is 13.35pm. It takes around 1 hour from Taichung to Taipei.

 

 

 For business class cabin, they provide free drink and snacks. The seats are very comfortable and we couldn't feel anything that the train is moving at 200km/h.

 

 

After 1 hour of train ride, we have reached Taipei. If we were to drive the car, it will take us around 3 hour. After we reached Taipei, we meet our rental car uncle again to take our car.

 

We stayed at Leofoo Residence in Taipei. It's a 1 bedroom apartment with washing machine, microwave and fridge. I purposely book this because I need the washing machine to wash our clothes, microwave to sterilise my pumping parts, freezer to freeze my ice-parks and fridge to store my breastmilk. Haha! I know I am very troublesome but I am doing this for my little girl in SG. :)

 

So we rest awhile in the apartment and in the evening, we went to the famous wholesalers fashion market in Taipei, 五分埔.

Surprisingly, I did not buy much clothes this time round. I told Mr Lee that I don't dare to buy the bottoms because they look freaking small. My backside sure stuck or my thighs can't even fit in. Taiwanese girls are really small size. Haha!  I also don't buy shoes and handbags there. So I can only look at blouses.

 

After walking around for 1.5 hour, we went to the Raohe market which is around 10 minutes walk from 五分埔.

 

 

And we eat again. Wa lao! Taiwan really full of night markets.

 

 

Another long day to us. By the time we reached our apartment, it's already 1030pm and I still gonna wash the clothes because we have run out of our 内在美 to wear.
