Gosh! The speed that I update my TW trip, it probably takes me around 2 months to finish updating our 8 days TW trip.
So when am I....Oh ya! Day 7 in Taiwan.
On day 7, we drove to the MRT station Taipei Zoo because Mr Lee wants to try the crystal clear cable car. The cable car rides will bring us to 猫空.
I did not expect that the theme of the cable car is Hello Kitty. So I am quite excited when I see it. :p
All my photo bombing.
I also cannot stand it that I keep taking photo with all these Hello Kitty booth stand.
The cable car is damn cute right. For crystal clear cabin, the max number of people is 5 whereas the normal cabin is 6.
And this is what I meant it is crystal clear. You can look at the view below from the cable car. I'm not scare because the height as compared to the one at Sun Moon Lake, this is acceptable even though this cable car is transparent.
I really take the photos with Hello Kitty "gao gao" (in hokkien).
The cable car ride takes less than half an hour from Taipei Zoo to Mao Kong.
And Mr Lee eats his favourite peanut ice-cream crepe again. I cou;dn't find this selling in SG.
鲁肉饭 and really damn smelling 臭豆腐. The one we ate at Taichung is still the best.
We stayed there for around 1-2 hours and took the cable car back.
Last pic with Hello Kitty before we left this place.
Hello Kitty Toilets
After that, we drove to 中正纪念堂. The driving is less than half an hour. I remember we came here before, I think was more than 10 years ago, one of first overseas trip during our dating time.
The visiting hours in case you want to visit.
This place reminds me of Lincoln Memorial Hall at Washington that we have visited during our honeymoon holidays. Perhaps all memorial halls look the same?
We happen to see their changing soldiers time. So we saw the process of changing shift of the soldiers. I told Mr Lee "wa lao! one toilet break so troublesome."
After that, I told Mr Lee that I wanna go to the Hello Kitty Cafe. He is like "what? hello kitty again?"
It's abit difficult to find as we are driving. This is because it is in one of the small lanes. The address is: No. 90, Section 1, Da'an Rd, Daan District, Taipei City, Taiwan 106
Mr Lee gonna faint that the whole place is flooded with Hello Kitty Theme. From the door step to the toilet, everything is in Hello Kitty. But isn't they adorable???
We went there around 5pm? 不三不四 timing for tea break or dinner. The pastries are so-so. 好看不好吃. But overall is still okay lah, the price is abit pricey for pastries but we came here all the way from SG, expensive also must try abit right.
There is a barbie cafe nearby too but we cannot eat anymore.
Finally we ended our day at 西门町. It looks pretty the same as compared to 10 years ago. And we settled our dinner there by eating 阿宗面线 and those illegal stall selling 葱油饼.
