Happy 8 months

EHappy 8 months old to my little hanzi.

It also marks my 8 months of supplying breastmilk to her. I will continue until the day my tap is off. :p Hopefully another few months of saving milk powder $$$.

We have lowered her baby cot to the lowest because she will stand up holding to the baby cot railing. I feel that this one is picking up all these skills faster than Belle. I don't remember Belle can stand by herself with support at 8 months old. Indeed all kids are different.

Recently, I read an article on why parents shouldn't keep posting their kids' photos in social media.

I mean all of us are proud of our kids, but I come across some parents post their kids' photos everyday on facebook, what their kids do or announcing their kids' achievement in facebook. Some of them also post the videos of what their kids have done.

I know they are proud of their kids' achievement but do they have to inform everyone? So what if the kids can do certain stuff?

I also happy of my kids' milestones but you don't see announcing to the whole world in Facebook or post any video of my kids. Because my thinking is why should I let any 阿狗阿猫 to know my personal life.

And I also read an article before if we have ever wondered if any of our friends in Facebook has less fortunate kids?Because not all friends in my Facebook are my close friends. I don't know many of their personal life. How will they feel when they see us keep posting how our kids are? Won't they feel upset when they see what other people's kids are whereas their own kids are not like that?

I know Facebook or any other social media is a platform to share photos or whatever crap. But I feel we have to control ourselves, don't need to announce to the whole friends list of what our kids do or their achievements everyday. I see a lot of my friends post their kids' photos everyday. Example "xxx" in day 380". Sorry but to say, I think their life is only surrounded by kids.

I only post my personal photos in my blog instead of Facebook. This is because it's is a form of diary for myself and in future I can read up all these entries and share with my daughters. "Hey! Mummy is also blogger but the reader is only herself. Haha!"

It's better to be low profile sometimes.
