Delivering baby

Don't get me wrong. I am not going to deliver a baby.

Recently, I came across this article regarding delivering a baby.

It seems like there is an increase of people delivering baby via c-section.

Actually, it's true. Because I calculated the number of friends that I know, I mean who are mothers, only 4 of them delivered naturally. Even some of my cousins also delivered via c-section.

Think about it, when I first had Belle, I was still thinking if to deliver her via c-section too. Because after attending the lesson conducted by my gynae regarding delivering of baby naturally, I freaked out. At that point, I cannot imagine that my baby will deliver from that passage.

Then one of my friends told me "why not u let the baby decide herself which way she wants to come out?"

So I go and think about it, that's true. So I just let her decide.

Although I have to wait for 8 hours after my water bag burst, I manage to go through the natural way.

The first 1 week after delivery, I am so scared to go toilet and I have to put a cushion on my chair before sitting down. So I suffered 1 week of pain. But with Mikayla, I don't feel any pain after delivery. The nurses still comment that I can sit with my legs crossed in the hospital. Maybe that's why Mr Lee said my _____ already seasoned. So terrible of him.

Then I heard from friends that went through c-section, they cannot get up easily after delivery because of the wound. One of my cousins suffered would inflammation, end up have to stay in hospital again during confinement. She also told me that it takes her 1 month to recover.

So I think my 1 week of suffering is nothing to her.

Anyway, I think doesn't matter which way the baby is born, as long as the mummy and baby are safe, anything doesn't matter right.
