Singapore Discovery Centre and Army Museum

This afternoon, we went to Discovery Centre and Army Museum.

It's a last minute decision because I feel so bored at home looking after the kids so I asked Mr Lee to bring us out. I will always pursue Mr Lee to bring us out on Sunday because I don't want the kids to keep staying at home.

So I thought of going discovery centre since we have never go there before.

It's very near to our house, it takes us around 20 minutes drive from our house. It's beside SAFTI MI which is along Jurong Road.

At the entrance of Discovery Centre.

Actually there is nothing much to see over there and we find it quite bored. We don't understand many of the things there so maybe this is the reason why this place is called Discovery Centre. We have to spend time and discovered ourselves. The place is very dim and I can hardly take pictures of the kids.

Some TV broadcast to let you experience being a news broadcaster. We chose the ERP broadcast and end up we cannot figure it out how it works. Then after that some aunties came and interrupt us. They also want to try the TV broadcaster.

Asking Belle to pose because I am trying to take more photos there but there is nothing much for us to take photos over there.

The 2 girls trying to figure out how to use this public telephone. I think it has extinct because I don't see it anywhere in Singapore anymore. I still remember I have to find coins in order to slot into the public phone and called my mummy during my primary school days.

After that we went to Army Museum which is beside Discovery Centre. And on our way walking to the museum, there are some volunteers giving out free ice-cream. So nice of them and it's a blessing to eat ice-cream at such a hot weather in Singapore. Mr Lee and I took 1 ice-cream each and shared with the kids. They have enjoyed the red bean ice-cream very much.

Cannot focus on the camera again. The picture behind them is suppose to be a trick-eye picture too. It's always a challenge to take picture of the kids.

Some silly pictures we took at the museum. This is quite interesting as there is a camera that can sense us. After sensing us, the uniform will pop up. So I tried the old uniform and current uniform that the NS men are wearing currently.

Mr Lee also tries to be funny. The best part is there isn't anyone there so we can take our own time and play around.

Another trick-eye picture that I asked Belle to pose. Nowadays, there are more and more trick-eye pictures or 3D pictures for us to take photos with.

Mummy and Mikayla also want to experience as an officer. I think Mikayla is very adorable in this picture because she hardly smiles while taking photos.

The bunk which the old soldiers used to sleep and is non-aircon.

After that we also went to try some shooting game. It's my first time to touch a gun.

My shooting is like shit... It's so hard to aim. Mr Lee gets 100% marks. Is that what they called marksman?

Another photo that they cannot focus.

Selfie with the kids while waiting for Daddy. Purposely to take with the SG heart map behind us.

After that, we brought the kids to take photo of daddy's car again before saying bye bye to this car too.

We went to the same place where we went last Sunday to take photos.

Somehow the effect looks different even though we tried to take with the same pose.

There goes our family car. :(

We asked Belle to take a photo for us. So after Mr Lee stood there, I quickly put the youngest Miss Lee beside the road side and pose with Mr Lee.

Should have taken a solo photo with Mr Lee and his blue car too but too bad the car is gone. :(
