Home-wear clothes with the two missy.
I google and tried to find places to go.
Gosh! West side of Singapore is really boring. The place is either we went before or have to pay money. Example Jurong Birdpark which we wouldn't want to pay for the entrance fees.
So I am trying to find places which are admission free.
So I suggested to go Civil Heritage Gallery which is at Central Firestation since it is free of charge.
And here we are. We parked at Funan IT Mall since it is just opposite of Central Firestation. Traffic light crossing and here we are at the Central Firestation.
The gallery is quite small and it displays the old fire engine that they are using during 1960s or even older than that.
Sitting inside the old fire engine. Inside the fire engine, there is a TV that shows the old times of Singapore of how the firemen put out the fire.
There are a few TVs around showing the old times of Singapore too. I didn't know there is a big fire at Robinsons at Raffles Place in 1960s until I watched these videos and reading the exhibits.
Bukit Ho Swee is where the big fire has burnt down a lot of atap houses during 1960s. We suspected that the fire is a conspiracy to move the residents from atap houses to HDB at that time. :p
We finished walking the gallery around 20 minutes because the place is quite small even though there are 2 storeys of exhibits.
After that, we went to the Philatelic museum aka stamp museum. The museum name is so chim that I don't know how to pronounce.
It's just 5 minutes walk from Central Station. And the admission of this museum is free too. I think most of the museums admission are free due to SG50.
The mama stall that sells the magazines and cigarettes.
Inside the Heritage room where they displays the spices and food which are selling during the 1960s in 海南街.
Photobomb of Mikayla because she is quite cooperative when I told her I want to take photo of her. She is so much different from Belle when Belle was around her age last time.
The different kind of mailboxes that are used. I don't think Singapore used the red mailbox.
This room has some kids stuff like magnifying glasses which the kids are enjoying playing with them.
