Tadah.... We are on our way to Phuket. Phuket is around 1 hour away from Bangkok. We took Bangkok Airways. Oh ya! One thing I cannot understand is why are all the Thai girls so pretty & slim? The air stewardess are very pretty that I couldn't take my eyes off them. I know I sound lesbian but pretty girls are indeed hard to reject. :p
Here we are at Phuket. As usual, Mr Lee has rented the car from his regular care rental shop in Phuket. This time round, they rented a new Toyota pickup for us. They have just collected it from the showroom and in the afternoon they had rented it to us. So Mr Lee is quite excited over his "new" pickup and took alot of the photos of this pickup crazily.
While I am checking the weather, Mr Lee just snapped a photo of his new pickup without realising me at the side of his pickup.
The following day, we started to explore Phuket with his new pickup.
The view is nice right? Imagine everyday waking up seeing this kind of view instead of seeing the crowded train or caught in a traffic jam.
Don't focus on my fat arms and big waist, just look at the view. :p

Oh ya! We have booked Centara Grand Beach Resort at Karon Beach. I was so disappointed on the first day of check-in because the room is not what I am expecting. When I booked via agoda.com, it is stated that all pool suite has ocean viewing room.
So after we checked-in, the room is NOT ocean viewing at all! And they gave us 2 double beds and no WIFI. This is totally different from what I am expecting. So the hotel staff knows that we are unhappy (perhaps I), so they said that they can change another room for us but in 2 days time.
So better than nothing, we slept for 2 nights in that room which I am unhappy with. So after 2 days, they have changed to this room for us.
But still I am going to give a bad rating to this hotel. I told Mr Lee why I am so pissed off is because I am paying double for this hotel as compared to the one in Bangkok and yet I'm not getting the stuff which is better than Bangkok. However, this resort is family friendly because they have water theme parks for the kids. Maybe that's why I am quite sian of this trip because I see alot of kids playing around but little M is not here with me. Anyway I told Mr Lee, I will find another family friendly resort if we are coming to Phuket again with little M. I have condemn this Centara Resort in Phuket.
On the day of departure, we drove to Si-Ray Island to explore. Since our flight is at 10pm (TH time), so we still have plenty of time after we have checked-out.
Oh man! This is the Westin Resort at Si-Ray Island which Mr Lee has suggested to book.
Is super nice and peaceful. All the rooms are facing the ocean, no need to argue with the hotel staff if the rooms are not facing the ocean. :p
But we didn't book this resort because it is super far from Patong Beach. We drove for 1.5 hour in order to reach here because we are lost at Phuket Town. From Patong Beach to Si-Ray Island, we have to drive through Phuket town which is so complicated. By the time I figure out the map and ask Mr Lee to turn, it is too late. So we have been going round and round and finally reach Si-Ray Island. Anyway, there is NOTHING in this small island. No wonder Westin Resort is the only resort in this island.
For this trip, I believe we have conquer the whole Phuket. Because this time round, we explore the southern and western part of Phuket, instead of spending our time again in Patong Beach.
