WARNING!!! *Before scrolling down, there are alot of my individual fat photos because that Mr Lee doesn't like to take photo.*
Last week, Mr Lee and I have gone to BKK for a short trip.
The last time I visited BKK was 6 years ago when I was still working in EY. BKK didn't change much, the jam is still terrible and the road is very dirty.
We stayed in Centara Grand Central World. The location is good as it is around 10 mins walk from Platinum Mall and Siam Paragon. Central World is just below the hotel. The view of our room is good too because we are located at 44th level and we had our breakfast daily at the Executive Lounge which is level 51st.
On the first night, we decided to go for the Spa in the hotel. The spa is good and my shoulders are so relaxed after the spa. Before that they are as stiff as rock.
So after the spa, we went up to the Red Sky Bar located at level 53th of our hotel.
Obviously the picture shown below is without makeup. That's why my face is as pale as a white paper. :p
The view at the bar is nice. It's open air concept so if it rains.... that's it. It was very breezy on that night and we had a drink over there to enjoy the night view of BKK.
The 2nd day we went to Jim Thompson Museum.
The guy is showing us on how silk is made. No wonder silk is so expensive because they have to use hot water to boil the worms in order to pull the thread out from their body.
In the evening, we went to Asiatique. It is their night bazaar which is open daily from 5pm to 12am. We took the shuttle boat to the nearest MRT after walking around the night bazaar. The so-called river cruise is good because it is travelling along the Chao Phraya River. So we have Tutu (the taxi that u saw in Visa advertisement), their MRT and boat on that day.
The next day we went to Siam Underworld. It is similar to our Sentosa Underworld. It was stated that Siam Underworld is the biggest aquarium in Southeast Asia which we have walked in less than 1 hour. So I cannot understand that fact.:p

I'm amazed by jelly fish. They are very pretty and I was wondering how they see and breathe.
After the aquarium visit, we went to watch Twilight Saga. We are not fans of Twilight. We only watched the first episode and this last episode. I saw the preview and it seems nice so I psycho Mr Lee to watch with me. We tried their "Gold Class" for the movie. The ticket for each person is only SGD 28. Before the movie starts, we can have their light buffet and mocktail. During the movie, we have a basket of popcorns and a drink to enjoy while watching the movie. Shiok!
That's the executive lounge that we had our breakfast during this trip. And we super love the service in this hotel. The hotel staff are so friendly, seeing them brighten up our day.
And time to say bye bye to BKK.... And on our way to Phuket (yes... again)
Hope to go BKK again because I haven't shopped enough. And I must bring little M for the next time round. Miss her so badly during this trip.
