During our stay in Melbourne, we also went to Phillips Island.
Phillips Island is around 1.5 hour from Melbourne. So poor Lee gonna drive again!
So before we start our driving, we had our lunch at.....
Ya man! Killiney Kopitiam! Come all the way from SG to Australia and eat Singapore food.
No choice lah! Cos my in-laws want to eat chinese food. I think the elderly cannot eat ang moh food everyday cos they are not used to it.
So I gonna feed that naughty little M before we go to Phillips island.
Here we are at Chocolate Factory, our first stop in Phillips Island.
Actually, I wanna go to the heritage farm in Phillips Island first. But by the time we reach there is already 3pm and the farm closes at 5pm! So end up we go to Chocolate Factory.
The admission is AUD 15 and kid below 4 is FREE.
This place is very interesting as it is showing us the process of chocolate making.
Yes! All these are made of chocolate.
We machiam become kids when we are over here.
WHY?
Because of these games lah. Because we can win chocolates if we manage to scoop the chocolates into the correct holes. So all of us are trying our best to get the chocolates.
And Mr Lee is doing his own chocolate
And it turns out to be like that.......
And poor little M gonna be the guinea pig to try Mr Lee's product.
After the chocolate factory visit, we are waiting to watch the Penguin Parade but we are still early.
So we drove around to explore this island.
While waiting for the Penguin Parade to start, we walked around the center and eat chips. The Penguin Parade is very interesting. Too bad, we cannot take photos over there. The Penguin parade is to see the penguins coming out from the sea and return to their home in the late evening. It's my 1st time seeing the penguins coming out from the sea. Because the penguins that I usually see are protected with glass, either in Jurong Birdpark or those aquarium. So Penguin Parade is a must-see if anyone is visiting Melbourne.
